All About the Bostock Family and their Ministry
Meet the Bostock Family: Greg, Glenda and their three wonderful daughters Rachael, Michelle and Anna.
For 27 years, the Lord has been using Greg and Glenda as His sounding voice through the gift of music.
Raised in the Mormon Church, Greg was taught good morals but never knew the real meaning and power of knowing Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. In 1981, Greg found new life in a personal relationship with Jesus and the realization that serving the Lord was more than just a religious obligation.
Glenda was raised in a wonderful, Christian home that truly knew and loved the Lord Jesus personally. She loved sharing her faith with everyone. Because of her boldness for Christ, she was able to street witness in her small town in Idaho with groups of other teens. A special friend named Matt was able to plant seeds in a young man named Greg Bostock on one of these nights. This night would be the beginning of a turn of events that would shape the future of Greg Bostock and Glenda Clark.
Greg and Glenda met through music in the spring of 1981. Greg was asked to write a graduation song for Glenda’s class. He asked a group of four girls to back him up on the song and one of these girls was Glenda. They began dating and she was able to disciple and lead him into a precious relationship with Jesus. They were married in the spring of 1982. God then put together a powerful team called “The Last Generation” to go and be a light in a dark world. Their band traveled regionally throughout the northwest for over 17 years, shared the love of Christ and challenged people to follow after Him.
In the fall of 1982, the Bostock family doubled. Twin girls, Rachael and Michelle were born…three months prematurely. The girls only weighed two pounds at birth. They underwent heart surgery and lost weight down to one pound eight ounces. Devastating twists and turns shook their young marriage and Greg’s young faith. But what the devil meant to rip apart, God welded together, making their family more solid.
Music was the beginning of their lives together and is now the underlying theme to their family ministry. The girls learned ministry under their parents and grew through their own talents and giftings. Greg has been on staff as Music Minister throughout the years with Glenda by his side. In 1995 they were blessed with the surprise of their third little joy, Anna. She was born full term and weighed 8 pounds, 15 ounces! God is so good!
In 1997 Greg went to work for Dave Roever Ministries of Fort Worth, Texas. This was a wonderful opportunity for Greg to be mentored by one of God’s powerful anointed evangelist of today Dave Roever. Greg was able to (and still does from time to time) travel with Dave throughout the nation ministering in song and worship. Greg wrote and produced two theme songs for Dave’s overseas ministry, “The Journey Back,” a song inspired by and for Vietnam veterans, and “Plant a Seed,” a song inspired by the ministry to children in Vietnam. “Plant a Seed” has been used not only by Roever Evangelistic Association, but also by The Book of Hope ministry of Pompano Beach, Florida Bookofhope.net.
Greg started writing songs to share what he was feeling and what the Lord wanted to say through him. Today many of Greg’s praise and worship choruses are being sung throughout the nation in the local churches and abroad. (To find out more about the music of Greg Bostock, go to the Music Page.)
Today the Bostock family is located in Layton, Utah traveling fulltime as a family ministry. Greg and Glenda are so excited to have their three daughters on stage and ministering right beside them. Rachael has such a wonderful gift of preaching the word and ministering through sign language, human videos and singing. She has such passion for the things of God. Michelle started writing songs about 9 years ago and today the Lord is using her songs to reach right into the hearts of people. Michelle has the voice of an angel. She also loves doing human videos and sharing. Rachael and Michelle are 26 years old. Anna Chere is 13 years old and loves to do human videos with her sisters and also loves to sing. She has even written some of her own songs.
